Foundations of Development
At Nodl, our Occupational Therapists work with children and their families to develop critical foundational skills, supporting future learning and development, enhancing your child’s independence, confidence and enjoyment of everyday life.
Occupational Therapy & Our Approach
At Nodl, we work with children and families, supporting them to develop important life skills, enhancing their independence and enjoyment in everyday life.
Some of the main occupations for children include play, self-care, learning and socialising. We will review your child’s strengths and challenges and can support skill development across a range of areas including Fine Motor, Gross Motor, School Readiness, Social and Emotional Learning, Self Regulation, Visual Perception, Cognition, Sensory Processing and mastering everyday activities. Building capacity in these areas helps children to feel happier and more confident in achieving the things they want and need to be able to do every day.
We provide individualised assessments and therapy treatment plans which are designed specifically around your child’s therapy goals. It is important to us that we work collaboratively with allied health professionals, teachers and other key people in your team, building resources, tools and supports to optimise the translation of learning between therapy, school and home life.
No referral is needed. Get in contact with us to see how Nodl can support your child.
We look forward to hearing from you.
