Rebates and Funding

  • Nodl Consulting provides services to NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. Currently, we do not see participants who are NDIA-managed.


    For further information regarding accessing occupational therapy services using your NDIS plan, please contact us via phone or email. Alternatively, contact NDIS 1800 800 110 for further support.

  • Nodl Consulting is registered with most Private Health funds and available rebates can support both assessment and treatment sessions, however, it is recommended that you check with your health fund directly prior to commencing services.


    Claiming the Rebate

    Occupational Therapy services and sessions will need to be paid for in full upon completion of the session, and a receipt will be emailed to you. Following this, you will be able to claim your rebate directly from your Private Health Fund.

  • Chronic Disease Management Plan
    (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care Plan)

    Eligibility: clients who have a chronic medical condition that last 6 months or more and require the support of allied health.

    To access funding through this plan, a referral is required from your GP who will determine eligibility. The therapist will provide a report to the GP regarding the services provided.

    The plan provides funding towards 5 allied health sessions in total per calendar year and can be renewed yearly. Please contact Medicare to discuss this further.

    Helping Children with Autism

    Better Start for Children with Disability Initiative

    Eligibility: early intervention services for children undergoing diagnosis/assessment or treatment for autism or a range of other conditions.

    To access funding through either of these plans, a referral is required from a Consultant Paediatrician or Physician who has diagnosed eligible disability.

    A Treatment / Management Plan is coordinated and referral is made to allied health services for assessment and therapy.

    The plan provides funding towards up to 4 assessment sessions and up to 20 treatment sessions for children up to 13yrs of age, and up to 20 treatment sessions for children up to 15yrs of age.


    A separate referral is required for each allied health service.

    Claiming the rebate:

    Following this, you will be able to claim your rebate directly from Medicare, either in person at a Medicare centre, online or via the Medicare smartphone app.

Treatment Process & Billing

  • Please get in contact to discuss Fees. Nodl Consulting Pty Ltd is a GST-registered entity and as such, all fees will be subject to GST.


    Prices apply to all modes of service delivery including assessment, therapy (face-to-face and Telehealth), travel, documentation, resource development, therapy planning and collaboration with other relevant stakeholders.

  • 1-3 hours

    A comprehensive assessment will be completed to review areas of concern and can be completed across 1-2 sessions depending on complexity.

    Assessment may include reviewing relevant reports, interviews, standardised assessments, observations, and the analysis and interpretation of assessment results.

  • 1 Hour

    Therapy sessions may vary slightly in length, but will usually be 45 minutes face-to-face, with 15 minutes non-clinical time included for documentation and future session planning.

    The session includes intervention and observation, discussion of strategies and ideas to implement at home. 

  • 1-4 Hours


    Reports are necessary to meet requirements for funding through Medicare and NDIS, and may be written upon request. They will provide detailed results of assessments, interventions, therapy goals and progress.

  • Resources may be critical to support intervention and may be created specifically to target therapy goals.

    This can be discussed prior and will be charged hourly, or part thereof.

  • At times, sessions may be conducted at school or home.

    Travel fees can be discussed prior and will be charged hourly, or part thereof.

  • To ensure holistic care and to maximise benefits of multidisciplinary intervention, liaison with other key stakeholders (allied health professionals, teachers, parents and doctors) is often necessary.

    Clinical calls and emails will be charged hourly, or part thereof.
